Nikolas/Noele/Nolan Alves is Blane’s partner at IAOS. though often overlooked, with soft smiles and constant genuine kindness, N is someone you can count on when having a bad day. But don’t let that fool you, for N also has a strong will and disregard for being treated badly that will make you rethink double-crossing them.

THE WARLOCK.
Kian/Kaia/Kai de Vries is a warlock you see out for their expertise. as an immortal, K has learned to keep their cards close to their chest and finds it difficult to trust. Their aloofness and blunt sense of humour may make them difficult to get along with at first, but once warmed up to you, K is a powerful ally that proves to have a great amount of depth.
Will you fall for someone you know you will have to one day leave behind?
THE BOUNTY.
Rylan Villanueva is a bounty you’ve previously failed to capture. A flirt through and through, Rylan’s signature moves are sharp smirks and quick winks, the signs of someone who enjoys the sight of someone flustered. Their sarcasm and charm often take up the forefront of their personality, but though seemingly shallow with their wandering eyes, Rylan’s bed remains empty, preferring to spend nights alone.

Look, I literally just made an account so I could comment… and girl… this is the BEST IF I’ve ever played! The way you describe emotions is actually insane, way beyond anything I imagined! The MC and his panic attacks are written so perfectly and in such detail, it’s crazy! I felt every single moment! I cried at some parts that seriously hurt my heart, I’m not even joking… honestly, you created something amazing and I really appreciate all the effort you put into this…
Secondly… and because I’m a fan of K, I have to tell you this… I’ll forgive you on ONE condition… you better make that man yearn for me in the next chapters!! You HAVE to, or you better lock your doors ❤️ I’m kidding 🫣
And third… I’m not gonna lie to you… I really tried every route with B, A, R, and N… and they were all genuinely amazing… but for me, B was the best one. You REALLY captured those intense emotions perfectly, like seriously perfectly. Not many people could describe feelings that well.

yk every time i reread i'm like "okay maybe perhaps perchance i'll try another RO's route this time," and then i start reading, and then rylan shows up, and then my previous plans go straight into the trash. it's been a year since i started reading this IF and i still go back to them every time... i can't help it, they are just so amazing (੭ ˊ^ˋ)੭ oh how i yearn for the slow burn.. (also chapter 13 was so URGHH. keep up the good work!!!!)
I managed to play a K romance with the angle of "let's take care of Ry together", but yeah I fully understand your dilemma ^^;

I genuinely love every route the game offers, both platonic and romantic. The writing is excellent too.
I'M GOING TO RANT A LITTLE HERE, BUT IT'S NOT AS BAD AS IT SOUNDS.
The only playthrough that really broke my immersion was when I played as an asshole. The game forced me to befriend someone, and it just didn’t make sense. I chose Nikolas because he seemed like the only one nice enough to tolerate my asshole hunter, but I only had about 0–5% relationship with all the ROs.
So it felt really weird reading about how badly my hunter treated Nikolas just because he was Blane’s partner, and then suddenly getting a line like, “I forgive you, because we’re friends.” At the same time, the game describes Nikolas as someone who rarely hates anyone, yet somehow my character manages to push him to that point. The contrast just didn’t land.
Also, my hunter asking for forgiveness didn’t make sense at all considering the choices I had been making.
I understand why it happens mechanically, but it still pulled me out of the experience. Another issue is that I couldn’t really play as a supernatural racist. Even though my profile said I was one, it never really showed in the playthrough because I got forced into a scene with Kian and Rylan (Blane hated me, so I couldn’t pick him xD).
In that scene, no matter how awful my hunter had been to them (I literally kept going back just to get the lowest possible points with each character), they were still super supportive and attentive. And I was just sitting there like Blane in his route… I don’t deserve this xD. Especially since I intentionally played my hunter as someone who pushes everyone away.
OKAY, RANT OVER.
I really do love the story, though. Like I said, I explored every route I could find, and this was the only one that felt off. The others could feel a bit weird too, but that was usually because I deliberately picked odd choices—like choosing someone who hated me when the game asked who approached me xD
Hello! I appreciate the detailed feedback and I absolutely agree. As I began writing more for the game, I started to realize much of it caters to players who are friendly to the ROs, and it's quite impossible to play as an antagonistic Hunter even though the option is supposedly provided. This is 100% something I want to fix.
Because that will take so much time, however, I'm putting it off for now until I do my giant edit of Book 1. But rest assured this is something that's on my mind and I fully agree with your opinion! I understand how that can be immersion breaking and I apologize if it threw you off from the game/your playthrough.

Oh, I’ll definitely keep enjoying it, rest assured. As I said before, I explored as many choices and weird routes as the writing allowed me to, and that was the ONLY one that really broke my immersion. The other awkward moments came from my own character choices, not from the writing itself. (I purpusly break the immersion in those just to see what happened)
I’ll be looking forward to trying the non-friendly route once it’s reworked. It’s not like the other routes aren’t amazing on their own. A’s route is especially interesting if you make them aware that you’re there against your will—their internal struggles are really compelling to read. Similarly, Blane’s route has a lot of depth as well. Not that the others don’t, of course—those two just clicked with me the most as a reader.
So, I put all five of them into my "Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream" world. Rylan is dating my lookalike, Blane and another mii i have are both crushing on N. K is crushing on the mii my gf wants her mii to date, and A and Blane are almost best friends... LOL
LOL what a backwards world (mostly). That sounds so fun haha
oh as if A and Blane aren't halfway to being the enemies-to-lovers trope xDD There's definitely fanfic potential there :P

This is my 3rd replay and I'd just like to inform you that on Chapter 3.10 it won't let me get past the "The Lunch Room". The next option is on top and nothing happens when I tap on it. I've tried restarting the game too. It's the first time it has happened. 🥹
Your file is remembering your old choices and not letting you proceed because it thinks you've already exceeded the maximum number of times you can choose a route.
You have to start with a completely new file by choosing "New Game" at the beginning. Not just "Restart." If you're playing on browser I'd clear the cookies + cache. If on the Itch.io app, you could try deleting and reinstalling too. Let me know if this doesn't work!

One thing though. In Blane's route, on the page where you can close the gap or tell her no, one of the sentences is "His/Her/Theirs doesn't deny it," when it should be "He/She/They doesn't deny it."

I haven't finished playing everyone's routes yet, but I wanted to let you know that I just woke up from a dream where I was having lunch with K and Rylan (specifically Kian and they/them Rylan). I think it is because I keep replaying the game over and over... Though I'm not complaining at all!! I am craving Thai food now though lol.
Anywho!!! A+ update, I cried because of K AND Blane a lot (my Ace4Ace heart loves them both so dearly) and I wanted to squeeze A like a squeaky toy. Do you think they would squeak like one?? I bet they would...

You know what? At this point just kill me, the K angst is HEAVY this chapter. I've tried to change my decisions up (argue and deflect but i am about to read it all over again) and the change in the dialogue? Amazing AND hurtful. I genuinely can't figure out what's going thru K's head, when it was said a talk about immortality i thought it would be something WAY different to be honest, i was not expecting THAT. The "Don't ever try to touch me again," Hurts so much my goddd. I have to say that from the 3 routes i tried (Rylan, Blane and now K) this has been my favorite, the emotions hit hard. i never have any idea how to end my comments...

Well. I've only play Ryan's route for now and let me say some stuff. We got quite a lot of angst and finally got them (Rylan) to open up which i absolutely love and then we got a kiss

As far as I've explored there's six (counting the "kiss them" / "let them kiss you" as separate variants). One pair is when you cup their cheek, another is if you call their name then grab their wrist, and another is if you call their name then make an excuse. My personal favorites are the cup their cheek options and make an excuse / let them kiss you, but they're all sooo good!!
Thank youuu! I personally love both of the variants but my favorite is the choice where you don't kiss since (for me) it has a bigger emotional impact even without the kiss there ❤️🥹 but i just love they fall into mc's arms, at least their angst ends happily not like K's...
Oh I totally agree, it's so sweet just letting Blane know they're cared for without pushing the physicality of it too quickly. At the same time, it's so cute seeing them fully embrace it, especially when they initiate the kiss--it's so rare for them to even accept physical contact, much less do something so impulsive. Something about pouring their emotions into the kiss where words fail them is what gets me.
K soldiers have nothing but my utmost respect, I could never. At least, not until their route is a bit further along, being constantly left on angst cliffhangers would kill me :( o7 to you guys frfr

I belive it's back in chapter one when it asks you what your perspective on supernaturals is just before you meet Rylan for the first time. The best option (the one that gives you the most positive relationship with supernatural beings) is "... agree with the latter. I have a lot of supernatural friends and none of them are evil."

The easiest way is to choose "… agree with the latter. I have a lot of supernatural friends and none of them are evil" in Ch.1.
After that, you should have enough points automatically but for good measure, offer to go first in Ch.2 when Quinn begins her healing process and choose "It'll be fun to get to know them" in Ch.5 since it gives a lot of points.

Hey! By any chance, At the 'crimson rouge's side exit.' did you go right and pick up the pin? If you did, I think that was the issue, you have to go left and eavesdrop the convo! It should work now. If thats not the issue, let me know and I'll keep searching!

I had to replay because of requirement even though I chose every option and chance to step time with that one LI but it show up like I never chose those options And when I restart the game there is an bug now at chapter03.09 first you can't choose to go training anymore and can't go to Blane and problem too if I go to lap or to the cases the screen turns black and the game doesn't continue
Hello! I'm not sure what the issue is since I did not touch this chapter when Ch.13 was released. You may have to clear your cache, cookies and any trace of the game before trying again. I assume you chose training and Blane on another playthrough, and the game is still remembering those choices.

No problem! For your purposes, I also added a "Reset Game" button on the menu page, so if you're going to replay, please do so with that button so that none of your choices are remembered!
EDIT: This button does not work so I've since deleted it.
Being excited to play the new chapter just to find out you don't have a SINGLE complete met requirement in ANYBODY'S route 🥲💔 SO HEARTBREAKING. Looks like I'll have to replay the whole thing, but oh well, not upset about that!

Ugh all the choices I made and still can't romance the one of my choice cause I choose friendly interactions with others during other scenes. Even while flirting every chance I could.
Refreshed and that fixed but now it says I still believe R committed the murder, but that wasn't the case before the refresh. Ugh
Refreshed again and it changed the stats all around to not met. Guess it's guessing if I did or not. Instead of going off the save. Looks like a forced restart. On Android.

hey! sorry if this idea has been brought up before or if you've already discarded the idea, but i'd been considering the chapter selector problems and came up with something - though i've no idea how plausible it is.
could you perhaps scan and save the statistics at the start of every chapter separately, then if someone wanted to replay a chapter, load in that chapter's statistics and go from there? if you had separate slots designated for each chapter, you could skip back to them if someone loaded up the chapter select without losing them.
again, not sure how plausible it is considering i haven't used twine nearly enough to say how it'd work, though i do plan to in the future. regardless, i hope this finds you well ^^
